Ocala, FL – On Top of the World, in collaboration with the Marion County Emergency Management Department and the Florida National Guard, has received 3500 Pfizer COVID 19 vaccinations.

Governor DeSantis has issued an executive order 21-47 expanding COVID-19 vaccinations in Florida to; long-term care facility residents and staff, persons 65 years of age or older, health care personnel with direct patient contact, K-12 school employees 50 years of age or older, and firefighters 50 years of age or older.

As a result of reaching out to Rep. Harding and Senator Baxley, On Top of the World Communities was contacted by a State Emergency Management representative who set up logistics through their Region 3 Tactical Branch. “On Top of the World Communities is proud to be involved in Ocala/Marion County’s aid to combat COVID,” says Circle Square Cultural Center, General Manager, Jo Layman. “We are committed to assisting in every way possible to bring the vaccine to all eligible citizens.”

Master the Possibilities, Not-For-Profit Lifelong Learning Center, under the leadership of Michelle Shiedler, is handling all appointments, and Circle Square Cultural Center under Jo Layman, graciously provided a testing location.
