Since the opening of the Veterans Park in Crescent Ridge, On Top of the World has had a great response to the memorial brick program. If you don’t know what the memorial bricks are, we highly recommend you visit the park and check them out for yourself!
Memorial brick pavers surround the veterans’ monument. The bricks are a beautiful way for families and loved ones to honor those who served. These visitors have the opportunity to sit and reflect on the sacrifices all veterans have made in order to ensure the freedoms we all enjoy.
Each brick notes the branch of service and includes three lines for engraving purposes such as name, rank, military honor or other. The bricks are divided into the five branches of the military service including Air Force, Army, Marines, Navy and Coast Guard. There is a section for POW and First Responders as well.
You can purchase your bricks for the Veterans Park from the Recreation Center and Resident Services. They are $32.10 each including tax. We have some completed bricks installed at the park and some on-site waiting to be installed.
Bricks will be available to purchase once everything is up and running again! Be sure to visit the park and pay respect to all loved veterans honored with the bricks and monument.
