Jo Layman, General Manager of Circle Square Commons and Circle Square Cultural Center, recently was awarded by the Ocala Metro Chamber and Economic Partnership (CEP) for her continued work and dedication to the CEP as a board member for the last eight years.

The Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP) works to be a leading voice of business, as they strive to improve economic prosperity in our community through critical areas of focus like Business Attraction, Business Retention, and Business Creation.

Jo Layman was a founding member of the CEP and served during the merge of the Ocala/Marion County Economic Development Council (EDC) and the Ocala/Marion County Chamber of Commerce to form the CEP.

Throughout her years at the CEP, she served on the CEP’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. 2021 was her last year serving on the board.

Jo has been at On Top of the World for 17 years and also enjoys being a part of the vibrant art community in Ocala, where she sits on the Board of Directors for Marion Cultural Alliance.

The mission of the CEP is “to be a catalyst for a prosperous community,” and we are proud of the way Jo Layman contributes to that goal through her work at On Top of the World and the greater Ocala area. Thank you, Jo, for all you do!
