With a reputation for to quality construction practices and a moral obligation to our neighborhood residents and the residents of Marion County, On Top of the World (OTOW) sets the standard for other developers in the industry. As one of the oldest privately owned debt-free companies in Florida, much of that success is attributed to the leadership President Kenneth D. Colen has shown, and the community service mindset he has instilled in the 500+ employees On Top of the World employs.
As the late Sidney Colen states in the company mission statement, “We have always believed keenly that service and human values are greater than mere development.” With that mission at the forefront of all On Top of the World does internally and externally, our employees and residents are encouraged to do things for the greater good to make a positive change within our local community.
On Top of the World Community Outreach Efforts
- To date, the Ocala Open Golf Tournament (hosted by Candler Hills Golf Club) has raised $813,064 for local charities Hospice of Marion County, Inc. and Interfaith Emergency Services Inc.
- On Top of the World and SOF Missions join
forces yearly to combat the veteran suicide crisis by hosting Operation Helping Heroes, an annual golf tournament, raising $160,300 in 2019. - Proud sponsor of the American Heart Association Marion County Go Red for Women campaign.
- Proud sponsor of West Port High School athletics.
- Record-breaking 2021 USMC Toys for Tots drive with 1,320 toy donations.
- In 2021, well over 10,000 pounds in non-perishable food was collected and donated to Interfaith Emergency Services.
- Community Partner for the Ocala Metro Chamber & Economic Partnership (CEP)
- Over 175 resident-run clubs who regularly donate time, items, and funds to organizations in our community.
