On Top of the World Starts 2020 with Big Sales Boom
Ocala, FL – On Top of the World Communities, LLC has been rapidly growing since their reintroduction to the housing marketing in 2014. And 2020 has started off with a sales boom, recording a 48% increase in new home sales for January and February, as compared to the same time frame in 2019. With several new neighborhoods and amenity centers being introduced or starting construction this year, On Top of the World is off to a great start.
The recent success of On Top of the World Communities, LLC. is just beginning. Since 2014, eleven new neighborhoods have opened, increasing the total number of existing residences from 4,775 to over 5,500. And there is still plenty of room to grow, with nearly 13,000 acres, On Top of the World is one of the largest master-planned developments in Marion County, and several new neighborhoods are currently in their early planning stages.
As more homes are being built and On Top of the World’s population grows, additional amenities are needed to accommodate the many lifestyle pursuits residents enjoy. In November of 2019 a new Veterans Park was introduced and includes a Veterans Memorial honoring those who have served and are currently serving our nation through military service. The entire park is golf cart accessible and has multimodal paths for fitness. Adjacent to the memorial, residents can enjoy new amenities such as a dog park, community garden, basketball courts, bocce, shuffleboard, corn hole, a playground, Veterans pavilion and an archery range. Recent renovations to existing facilities has only increased the community’s popularity to active-adults looking for ways to enjoy their leisure time pursuits. For example, the popular Arbor Club underwent a transformation to meet the fitness needs of residents. This amenity is now one of the most popular destinations for those looking to workout in the gym, take a group fitness class, swim laps in the outdoor pool, or take a water aerobics class in the indoor heated pool.
Indigo East, after sitting idle for several years, was reopened in late 2015, and is already nearly sold out. Indigo East also underwent a renovation at is original community center and large resort-style pool. The most recent phase of Indigo East introduced their Fitness Center in July 2018 which includes an outdoor power park and another large leisure pool with lap lanes.
The latest release at On Top of the World is the new community of Weybourne Landing, and will include nearly 900 homes and its own activity and fitness center, complete with a large pool, miniature golf, pickleball and more! Over 30 homes were sold during Grand Opening, and construction of homes is already underway. The amenity center will also begin construction soon and should be open by early 2021.
