(Ocala, FL, April 1, 2022) – The 16th Annual Ocala Open Golf Tournament started on Wednesday, March 30, and ended on Friday, April 1, 2022, despite foggy mornings, windy conditions, and rainy days. The golf tournament kicked off with the Charity Pro-Am tournament on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, and led to last year’s champion, Seth Fair, winning back-to-back titles by claiming the Ocala Open Golf Tournament Champion for 2022!
Reigning champion Seth Fair ultimately won the 16th Annual Ocala Open Golf Tournament four strokes ahead of his competitors, ending with an incredible -18.
The 16th Annual Ocala Open raised $80,000 through its Charity Pro-Am hosted earlier this week. These funds were divided equally between Hospice of Marion County, Inc., and Interfaith Emergency Services, with each charity receiving $40,000. Both organizations are local non-profits in the community providing support for area citizens in need.
